Chronology of Events
1957
Petroquímica Group was founded by Manuel Diez Méndez.
1962
Quimsanto was founded as part of the Petroquímica Group.
1964
Polyplas Dominicana was founded as part of the Petroquímica Group.
1978
Termopac Industrial was founded as part of the Petroquímica Group.
1996
Manuel Diez lead the succession of Polyplas Dominicana and Termopac Industrial.
Established a strategic alliance with Reid Plastics (Consolidated Container Company) to produce polycarbonate bottles.
1997
Established Polyplas International, a distribution facility in Caguas, Puerto Rico.
1999
Merged Moldeo Industrial with Polyplas Dominicana.
2000
Diesco was founded as the corporate holding group for Polyplas Dominicana, Termopac Industrial and Moldeo Industrial.
2002
Acquired Pac Tech International and merged it with Polyplas International.
Constructed 6,000 square meters of warehouse for Termopac Industrial.
2003
Established Termopac International as the sales office in Miami, Florida and after relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.
Established a strategic alliance with Bunzl to gain access to the U.S. market.
2004
Started manufacturing of plastic gallons at Pac Tech International.
2005
Increased plastic gallon production capacity in Puerto Rico.
2006
Developed Multiblox as a manufacturing company of foam products for the construction industry.
Acquired an additional 5,000 square meters of space next to Polyplas Dominicana to expand its warehousing capacity.
2007
Acquired an additional 10,000 square meters of space next to Termopac Industrial (Máximo Gómez P.’s realty) to maximize its expansion capacities and to develop Ravi Caribe’s facilities.
Reached a strategic alliance with Azuna, a leading North American 3D design and printing company which utilizes poly-based substrates and state of the art technology.
2008
Developed of Ravi Caribe as result of the strategic alliance between Polyplas Dominicana and Grupo Ravi, one of the main producers of plastic and metal caps in South America.
2009
New Polypropylene substrates line will start as result of a strategic alliance reached in 2008 with Azuna, a leading North American 3D design and printing company which utilizes state of the art technology.
